We are seeking a skilled Urology Physician (Locum Tenens) to provide coverage at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital in Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-supported practice with a mix of clinic, OR, and hospital-based responsibilities no night or weekend call required.
Position Details - Location: Gettysburg, PA
- Practice Setting: Clinic + OR + Hospital (daytime call only)
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Contract Length: Ongoing coverage with multiple date blocks
- Start Date: July 27, 2026
- No Night or Weekend Call

Key Responsibilities - Provide general urology care in clinic and hospital settings
- Perform procedures and surgeries in the OR (including ureteroscopies)
- Conduct hospital rounds and manage consults
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
Practice Highlights - Established urology clinic with 9 exam rooms and 3 procedure rooms
- Strong support team: 3 MAs, 1 LPN, surgical scheduler, front office staff, and practice manager
- Average patients per day
- Adult patient population (no pediatrics)
- 73-bed acute care hospital
Requirements - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC LOQ
- DEA required
- Minimum 3 years of experience preferred (new grads may be considered)
Additional Information - Daytime hospital call includes rounding, consults, and OR support
- Occasional clinic add-ons during hospital coverage
- Credentialing available for clean files with temporary privileges possible
