Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Locums - Missouri Physician

Exciting locums opportunity for a Hematology and Oncology specialist in Missouri, near major travel hubs.

Highlights

• Control over work dates - 2 or more weeks required

Practice Setting

• Work in both outpatient and inpatient environments
• Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm
• Hospital call coverage on some evenings and weekends
• Collaborative team with 2 full-time physicians and 2 APPs

Schedule

• Clinic and call coverage - 1:3 call ratio with low callback rate
• Potential for one half-day off each week
• Full month commitment preferred

Cases and Procedures

• Focused on medical oncology and hematology patients
• Common procedures: consults, follow-ups, possible bone marrow
• No requirement for bone marrow transplant
• Consultation with hospitalists for patient admissions

Requirements

• Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine - Hematology/Oncology
• MO state license or IMLC (LOQ) on hand
• Certified in ACLS, ATLS, and BLS
• 90 days for credentialing
