Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

This role involves providing comprehensive gastroenterology services within a hospital setting. As a locum gastroenterologist, you will handle endoscopies, manage GI bleeds, and evaluate a variety of gastrointestinal problems. The facility is equipped to support you with a robust admissions team and interventional radiology available during weekdays, ensuring patients receive timely and effective care.

Schedule and Assignment Details

Expect a schedule consisting of 24-hour call shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., with a requirement to cover three consecutive shifts. The assignment begins with a single coverage date in May, with ongoing opportunities starting July 2026. This schedule allows for flexibility and the opportunity to engage in focused, uninterrupted patient care. Qualifications

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology is required.

• Must complete required EMR training and credentialing processes in advance of the assignment.
• Candidates must be able to commit to a minimum of three consecutive shifts and provide ongoing availability from January to June 2026.
