Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant

NorthBay Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) in Occupational Health to join our growing ambulatory care team in Fairfield, CA. In this high-impact role, you will deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care through a mix of same-day and follow-up visits, supporting continuity across physician-aligned practices.

Compensation

• $88.42 $113.15 per hour
• Compensation based on years of APP experience
• Top of range reserved for highly experienced candidates (20+ years)

What You ll Do

• Perform physical examinations and patient assessments
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Perform in-office procedures and treatments
• Prescribe medications in accordance with licensure
• Provide patient and family education on conditions and care plans
• Collaborate closely with physicians and care teams
• Support continuity of care across a diverse patient population

Qualifications
Education

• Master s degree required
• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program

Licensure & Certifications

• Active California NP or PA license
• Board Certification (for NPs: ANCC, AANP, AACN, or PNCB)
• Current AHA (or equivalent) CPR certification
• DEA license (Schedule II and above)
• Furnishing Number required

Experience

• NP: 2+ years of NP experience or 4 years clinical RN experience
• PA: Relevant clinical experience or completion of internship
• Preferred: 1+ year in Occupational Health or an ambulatory setting
