Interventional Cardiology Locum Opportunity Washington
Position Overview
A healthcare organization in Washington is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment. This hospital-based opportunity offers a blend of cath lab procedures, outpatient care, and limited call responsibilities in a collaborative cardiovascular program.
Compensation:
Regular Rate: $350/hr
24hr Call: $2,705/shift or 24hr call (2hrs of gratis to be included)
Call Back: $490/hr
Assignment Details
Start Date: July 2026
Contract Length: 26 Weeks
Schedule
Cath Lab coverage: Monday Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Provider remains on call during scheduled daytime hours
Coverage need: Approximately 2 weeks per month
Preferred schedule: Alternating weeks rather than consecutive two-week blocks
Potential weekend call coverage once per month
Rare and infrequent inpatient consults and after-hours calls

Perform standard interventional cardiology procedures
Cath lab coverage and procedural care
Inpatient consultations and admissions as needed
Outpatient cardiovascular care within the ambulatory care unit
Weekend call coverage when assigned

Standard Interventional Cardiology procedures
Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
Coronary interventions consistent with hospital privileges
Team Structure

Collaboration with cardiovascular and hospital-based teams as needed
Qualifications
Required
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
Active Washington Medical License at time of presentation
Current BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Recent interventional cardiology case logs from the previous 24 months documenting scope and complexity of procedures performed
Documentation Requirements
Providers must submit case logs from the past 24 months that include:

Date of service
Facility where procedure was performed
