Clinical Details :

  • Required Skills:PM&R
  • Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and complex medical conditions
  • Perform routine and preventive health examinations
  • Order, interpret, and act on appropriate diagnostic tests
  • Develop, implement, and adjust evidence-based treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with clinical guidelines
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient records within the EMR
  • Coordinate care with nurses, advanced practice providers, specialists, and ancillary staff
  • Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prevention strategies
  • Participate in care team meetings and case reviews as appropriate

Requirements :

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited residency program
  • Board certification or eligibility in applicable specialty
  • Current, valid license to practice medicine in the State of New York
  • Current DEA registration or eligibility for DEA registration
  • BLS certification through AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross required prior to start
  • Proven clinical experience within the physician's specialty area
