• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,150 - $7,280
• Location: Houston, TX 77030 - multiple hospital campuses in Houston, TX
• Setting: Multiple hospital campuses (inpatient, ER coverage)
• Shift: Overnight, 7 days/week, 7p-4a CST (hours negotiable; multiple providers may be used to cover shifts)
• Holiday Coverage: New Year, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
• Duration: Ongoing per diem / locum tenens assignments

Job Requirements

• Residency in Diagnostic Radiology
• Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (Diagnostic Radiologist)
• At least 1 year of experience as a diagnostic radiologist (hospital or ER radiology experience preferred)
• Eligible for temporary privileges (clean file preferred)
• Proficiency with CT, ultrasound, plain films, and MRI modalities
• Familiarity with RPCE Tech Stack and Powerscribe 4.0 preferred

Responsibilities

• Interpret a mixed caseload of CT, ultrasound, plain films, and MRI studies for ER and inpatient populations
• Provide overnight coverage primarily for emergency department (ER) and stat inpatient cases
• Weekend day coverage may include ER and inpatient reads across hospital campuses
• Read studies for multiple hospital campuses and emergency rooms; collaborate with on-site teams
• Meet productivity expectations of approximately 88 RVUs per shift
• Collaborate with day radiologists for routine studies; procedural work is not required
• Ensure timely, accurate reporting using advanced radiology technology and PACS systems
