Job Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services.
  • Independently take medical histories, examine patients, and order and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Formulate diagnoses, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and monitor patient progress.
  • Document consultations and significant health changes, coordinate referrals, and respond to emergencies.
  • Educate patients and healthcare staff on disease management and preventive care.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Valid Advanced Practice Nursing license in Connecticut.
  • Connecticut Controlled Substance license and DEA license.
  • BLS Certification by the American Heart Association.
  • 100 hours of CME every two years and NCCPA certification, if applicable.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in endocrinology or endocrine neoplasia.
Working Hours
  • Monday-Friday, varied shifts as per department needs.
