We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing group practice in Fredericksburg, Texas. This part-time opportunity offers flexibility, autonomy, and the ability to make a meaningful impact in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Position Overview - Part-time schedule: 2 days per week, Monday-Friday
- Provide psychiatric care by conducting rounds in skilled nursing facility short-term units
- Complete documentation remotely from home within 48 hours using a provided iPad/laptop
- Flexible structure designed to support work-life balance
Key Responsibilities - Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with mental health diagnoses
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Collaborate with facility staff to improve patient outcomes and continuity of care
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
Qualifications - Active and unrestricted PMHNP license required
- Active Texas license required
- Active DEA license preferred but not required
- Prior healthcare or long-term care experience preferred, but not required
Compensation Compensation is based on a fee-for-service (FFS) model. Expected annual compensation ranges from $53,752 to $64,503, with uncapped productivity income potential.
