Seeking a locum Urologist to provide inpatient coverage. This is a hospital-based role focused entirely on adult and geriatric patients, with support from an established urology team and inpatient APC coverage. The position offers a collaborative environment with access to on-site diagnostics and surgical resources.
Dates / Schedule - Coverage Type: Locum tenens (ongoing need)
- Setting: 100% inpatient
- Schedule: Not specified (flexible based on coverage gaps)
- Must be willing to cover both hospital locations
Job Details / Responsibilities - Provide inpatient urology care for adult and geriatric patients
- Perform:
- General urology procedures
- Ureteroscopy
- Collaborate with:
- 5 urologists in the group
- Inpatient APC support (7 days/week)
- Work in a Level III trauma setting
- Utilize on-site:
- Lab services
- Imaging (X-ray)
- Travel expenses covered (flight, hotel, rental car, mileage if applicable)
Required Skills & Qualifications - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Active South Carolina medical license (or willing to obtain)
- Certifications:
- DEA required
- Must be comfortable with inpatient urology and procedural work (including ureteroscopy)
- NPDB self-query (within 30 days) required at submission
- Must be willing to cover both hospital sites
