Key Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States (state license required)
  • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • Certification or recertification by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience as a CRNA (general anesthesiology / perioperative care)
  • Familiarity with perioperative anesthesia care, intraoperative monitoring, and airway management
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification preferred (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and document findings in the electronic charting system (SiS)
  • Obtain and verify informed consent for anesthesia and discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
  • Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia following institutional policies and ASA standards
  • Monitor physiologic parameters intraoperatively and implement appropriate clinical interventions
  • Coordinate care with surgeons, supervising anesthesiologists (MD to CRNA ratio 1:4), and the perioperative team to ensure patient safety
  • Adhere to facility infection control, documentation, and quality improvement procedures
