Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Med Surg PRN

HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Cardiovascular Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) unit on a per diem (PRN) basis. This role is pivotal in providing top-notch care by managing complex patient situations in a high-paced cardiovascular care unit. You will utilize the latest in medical technology to administer care and collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the cardiovascular Med Surg unit Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop nursing care plans Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions Operate and monitor medical equipment Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and health maintenance Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Strong clinical skills in cardiovascular patient care Proficient in using electronic health records and medical equipment Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make critical decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of employment Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
