Rehab Therapy Tech

Encompass Health is seeking a Rehab Therapy Tech to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. This role is critical in assisting patients with various types of injuries or illnesses to recover and regain optimal physical abilities. The Rehab Therapy Tech will work closely with therapists to provide care that promotes healing, fosters independence, and supports patients’ personal goals in a compassionate and supportive environment. Assist physical, occupational, and speech therapists in the treatment of patients. Prepare and organize the therapy environment and equipment. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises under the direction of professional therapists. Maintain accurate records of patient's therapy sessions and progress. Support patients emotionally and physically during therapy sessions. Ensure all therapy sessions are carried out safely and effectively in accordance with compliance and regulatory requirements. Strong understanding of therapy principles and techniques. Ability to operate and maintain therapy equipment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Physical ability to support and assist patients. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k CPR certification preferred. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Physical Therapy Aide Certificate (preferred but not required).
