RN Infusion

UCHealth invites qualified candidates to apply for the RN Infusion position at our esteemed healthcare system. With patient-centered care at the forefront of our mission, the selected candidate will perform duties that uphold the reputation of UCHealth's multiple hospitals and outpatient facilities across Colorado. The infusion nurse provides specialized nursing care, including the administration of medications and therapeutic agents necessary to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and palliative procedures to patients. Administer injections, IVs, medication infusions, and blood transfusions. Monitor patient reactions and complications arising from infusion therapy. Educate patients and families about treatment plans and possible side effects. Maintain meticulous records of patient treatments and progress. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tailor interventions to patient needs. Proficient in IV management and venipuncture In-depth knowledge of medication and fluid administration via infusion Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and communication skills Empathy and resilience in high-pressure situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of Colorado BLS certification CRNI or OCN certifications preferred but not required
