Dental Assistant, Ortho

Atlanta Gentle Dental is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our Orthodontic team. This role demands a committed individual passionate about delivering high-quality dental care in our state-of-the-art facilities, specifically within our orthodontic department. This individual will assist orthodontists by preparing patients, ensuring the cleanliness of treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments. As an integral part of our team, the successful candidate will help create a comfortable and friendly environment for our patients, ensuring they leave with a smile. Assist the orthodontist during a variety of treatment procedures. Set up and breakdown orthodontic treatment rooms before and after each patient. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to compliance. Prepare materials for bracket placements and other dental procedures. Provide patients with follow-up care instructions after orthodontic treatment. Ensure that all patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment. Manage dental supply inventory and work with vendors to ensure that all necessary dental materials are available. Help with front office tasks as needed. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Detailed knowledge of orthodontic instruments and OSHA regulations Proficient in using dental office software Excellent verbal communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) from the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) X-ray certification Current CPR certification
