Neonatal ICU (NICU) Registered Nurse in Liverpool, NY

Provide specialized nursing care as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, supporting critically ill newborns and their families with expertise and compassion. Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality nursing care to neonates in the NICU, closely monitoring and managing their complex medical conditions. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and social workers to create and implement individualized care plans. - Document patient care accurately and promptly using EPIC charting software. - Educate and support families throughout the care continuum, addressing their concerns empathetically. - Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain certifications including BLS, PALS, and NRP. Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Active and clear RN license. - Minimum of 2 years experience working in a NICU setting. - Certifications in BLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). - Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records. - Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. - Flexible to wear any color scrubs following department dress code. Schedule: - 36 hours per week. This role is ideally suited for nurses located within a 50-mile radius, although travel candidates are welcome to apply. Local rates apply accordingly.
