RN PICC/Vascular Access

UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our PICC/Vascular Access team. In this role, you will be responsible for the insertion and maintenance of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC) and other vascular access devices, ensuring high standards of care and patient safety in multiple hospital and outpatient settings. Assess patient condition and plan appropriate vascular access intervention. Insert, maintain, and remove peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC) and other vascular access devices. Collaborate with the healthcare team to determine the best care plans for patients. Educate patients and families on care and maintenance of vascular access devices. Document patient care and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements. Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest practices in vascular access. Expertise in PICC line and other vascular access device insertion Strong assessment and patient monitoring skills Ability to maintain detailed medical documentation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in infection control practices Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license applicable to the state of Colorado CRNI (Certified Registered Nurse Infusion) or VA-BC (Vascular Access-Board Certified) preferred
