RN Burn ICU

UCHealth is seeking highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) to join our dedicated Burn Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a premier Colorado-based, nonprofit healthcare system, UCHealth offers a collaborative environment where patient care is optimized through advanced medical practices and compassionate approaches. This position is pivotal in managing the care of patients with critical burn injuries, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and therapies to enhance recovery and improve outcomes. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients with severe burn injuries. Monitor patient's condition, assess and interpret vital signs, and modify treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to formulate holistic patient care. Educate patients and their families on condition, recovery, and home care needs. Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of patient safety and excellence. Advanced knowledge of burn injury care and pain management. Ability to operate specialized ICU equipment. Strong communication and teamwork capabilities. Capacity to handle high-stress, urgent situations with a poised demeanor. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) preferred. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
