RN Medical Surgical Oncology

UCHealth, a leading healthcare provider in Colorado, seeks an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical Oncology team. This role requires a dedicated individual who can manage comprehensive patient care in an oncology setting. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of care in our state-of-the-art facilities. Provide direct nursing care to patients in the oncology medical surgical unit. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Administer medications, monitor patient recovery and progress, and educate patients and their families on disease processes and post-hospital care. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to safety standards and regulations. Participate in research and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Strong clinical skills in a surgical oncology setting Ability to operate medical equipment Proficient in nursing software and patient databases Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado. BLS/CPR certification. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred.
