UCHealth, a leading Colorado-based nonprofit healthcare system, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Office team. This position plays a vital role in providing exemplary patient-centered care in an outpatient setting. The RN Medical Office is responsible for a variety of nursing and administrative tasks to ensure seamless operations and exceptional patient outcomes. Our ideal candidate is a proactive nurse who manages patient care with precision and empathy, fostering a supportive and efficient healthcare environment. Perform patient assessments and provide nursing care based on findings. Administer medications and treatments per physician's orders. Coordinate with healthcare team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of healthcare protocols. Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado. CPR/BLS certification by the American Heart Association or equivalent.
