Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director. Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting. Identifies and meets personal learning needs and attends relevant education programs. Uses patient education materials and assesses readiness to learn. Identifies patient outcomes and revises care plans as needed. Collaborates with the team to evaluate care and ensure continuity. Provides safe, competent care for patients with complex needs. Performs point-of-care testing and follows standards and policies. Organizes and prioritizes care; consults resources for complex issues.
