CT Tech Location: Anchorage, AK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,857 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:30 - 15:00) Experience: 1 year License: Valid State License Required Certifications: ARRT-R, BLS Must-Have: - Acute Care, ED, ICU, NICU Experience Required - Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility Description: The CT Tech position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience. Candidates should have current certifications in ARRT-R and BLS. Hours may vary based on unit needs and will rotate 5 days per week, Monday through Saturday. Shifts will be scheduled for 8-hour days between the hours of 06:30 and 18:00. No work will be scheduled on Sundays or observed Holidays. The candidate will be required to rotate coverage on Saturdays. The clinician may float within the scope to meet facility needs. Experience in adult acute care is essential. Candidates should possess skills in starting peripheral IVs and administering contrast media. Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic, is preferred. Daily responsibilities will include performing CT scans for various patient diagnoses. Patient age groups will include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The position will require starting IVs, running labs, and post-processing images. X-Ray experience, including extremities, abdomen, spine, pelvis, chest, and thorax, is required. Preferred skills also include fluroscopy studies and enema studies. Candidates must agree to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
