X-Ray Tech Location: Rockford, IL Agency: Bluebix Health Inc Pay: $50 to $55 per hour Shift Information: Evenings - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are currently seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician / Technologist for a 13-week contract at a leading facility in Rockford, Illinois. This role is within the Imaging/Radiology department and requires candidates who are comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians Operate imaging equipment, including C-arms (OEC 9900s) in the OR Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality imaging results Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and surgical teams Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control standards Prepare and maintain imaging equipment and work areas Requirements Minimum 2–3 years of X-ray experience Experience working with C-arms (OEC 9900s) in the OR BLS certification (AHA) Active state license (if required) Strong clinical and patient care skills Benefits Competitive pay (negotiable) Guaranteed weekly hours (40 hrs/week) Overtime opportunities Weekly pay Opportunity to work at a reputable healthcare facility
