Job Description Nephrologist (New Grads Accepted) - Locations: Poughkeepsie/Newburgh/ Kingston Sign-On and Relocation Bonus Available Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday (Day Shifts) Setting: Inpatient / Outpatient Job Summary: We are seeking a Board-Certified Nephrologist to join a well-established and growing practice in the Hudson Valley region. This position offers an excellent opportunity to practice comprehensive nephrology across inpatient and outpatient settings with a strong focus on quality patient care and work-life balance. Key Responsibilities: - Provide consultative and ongoing care for patients with acute and chronic kidney disease. - Manage patients requiring dialysis, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. - Participate in hospital rounds and outpatient clinic coverage. - Collaborate with hospitalists, primary care providers, and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care. - Perform nephrology-related procedures such as kidney biopsies and dialysis catheter placements (if applicable). - Participate in equitable call rotation among group members. - Engage in teaching, research, and quality improvement activities as desired. Qualifications: - MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. - Completion of an accredited Nephrology Fellowship program. - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology. - Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York. - New graduates are welcome to apply.
