Physical Therapist Location: Napa, CA Agency: United Health Care Staffing Pay: $2,600 to $2,709 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient | Napa, CA | 13 Weeks Contract Location: Napa, California Start Date: April 20, 2026 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift – 5x8 Hours (08:30 AM – 04:30 PM) Hours: 40 hours/week Positions: 1 Job Type: Travel/Contract Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week travel contract in Napa, CA. The PT will provide high-quality patient care in a hospital-based outpatient setting, treating a wide range of orthopedic, neurological, and post-operative conditions. The role requires strong clinical skills, patient-centered care, and the ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat outpatient physical therapy patients Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Treat post-operative orthopedic cases (TKA, THA, spinal surgeries, ACL, arthroscopy, etc.) Manage non-operative conditions such as neck pain, low back pain, shoulder, knee, and foot/ankle issues Provide gait and balance training, mobility exercises, and rehabilitation therapy Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery plans Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR (Epic preferred) Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Float to inpatient/affiliate facilities if required Skills & Experience Outpatient clinic experience Orthopedic rehabilitation and post-operative care Neurology and sports medicine (preferred) Gait training and mobility support Pain assessment and patient evaluation Assistive devices and patient transfers Home exercise program and patient education Modalities including cryotherapy and hydrotherapy Requirements Requirements Active California Physical Therapist License (required at submission) BLS Certification required Minimum 1 year of outpatient PT experience (strong candidates with less experience may be considered) Experience with orthopedic and neurological patient populations Epic charting experience preferred
