Job Description - Job Description - Provide evidence-based evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of patients including prescribing medications and/or other psychotherapeutic interventions - Develop treatment plans, measure progress against the plans, and make adjustments as needed - Provide crisis intervention as needed - Complete all necessary clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner - Collaborate with a broader team of physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and occupational therapists to assess and adjust treatment plans - Coordinate and communicate with case managers, family members and other stakeholders regarding treatment and care - Participate in the teaching of psychiatry residents, students and other trainees - 82-bed behavioral health hospital located in Brockton, MA. - Compensation and Benefits - Competitive Base(220-280k) - Bonuses discussed individually with hospitalist at interview - Community - Amazing location in the Boston suburbs - Enjoy access to the some of the best universities in the world - Enjoy everything New England has to offer - Requirements - Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy Degree or the foreign equivalent - Completion of an ACGME accredited residency in Psychiatry - Current valid unrestricted license to practice Medicine in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry and no Medicare or Medicaid sanctions - Current valid DEA certificate and MA Controlled Substances certificate
