Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Santa Clarita, CA, serving high school students across one to two school sites. The role is on-site, providing direct support to students throughout the school day, from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This contract position runs through the end of the current school year, with the potential to discuss summer hours and renewal for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities: - Deliver speech and language therapy services to high school students with diverse communication needs. - Manage a caseload effectively across one to two school sites. - Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs). - Document student progress and maintain accurate records. - Utilize teletherapy methods as needed and appropriate, although this primarily requires on-site presence. Qualifications: - Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC), pediatric and school-based experience preferred. - Experience working with school-aged children and adolescents, ideally high school caseloads. - Familiarity with school-based speech therapy practices and collaborating within educational settings. - Credentials for Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience are advantageous. - Ability to work on-site during specified hours in Santa Clarita, CA.
