Job Title: Senior Transactional Healthcare Associate Location: New York, NY Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Senior Transactional Healthcare Associate to join our esteemed Health Law Group in New York City. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide legal expertise and strategic counsel in a dynamic and evolving healthcare environment. Responsibilities: Transactional Expertise: Advise healthcare providers on a wide range of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliations, and other complex business transactions. Regulatory Compliance: Provide comprehensive regulatory counsel to ensure compliance with federal and state healthcare laws and regulations, including the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and other relevant legislation. Client Representation: Represent a diverse client base, including health systems, hospitals, clinical laboratories, hospice and home care providers, behavioral health care providers, provider networks, durable medical equipment suppliers, ambulatory surgical centers, physicians, clinics, and outpatient facilities. Strategic Counsel: Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and provide practical and responsive legal advice to help them navigate the complexities of the healthcare industry. Investor and Lender Interaction: Work with investors, lenders, investment banks, and other intermediaries and advisors in the healthcare sector to facilitate transactions and business development. Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates and legal staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. Qualifications: Experience: Over eight years of experience advising healthcare providers on transactional and regulatory health law issues. Academic Credentials: Superior academic credentials with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Skills: Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated proficiency in writing, research, negotiation, and communication. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the healthcare industry and its regulatory landscape. Competencies: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Licensure: Admission to the New York State Bar
