RN- Assistant Manager, Hospice- Full Time, Days, Sussex / Warren County

Description Responsible for assisting the manager in overseeing the resources, operations, and staff associated with hospice patient care to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Provides support to families and patients to develop optimal care plans. Assists in clinical and quality improvement initiatives for hospice services in compliance with regulatory requirements. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Assists the Hospice Director in implementation of the plan of care and oversee the care provided by nursing staff and volunteers. 2. Responsible for assisting in promoting a culture of excellence in patient care. 3. Ensures outcomes are met as related to patient/family/caregiver needs as well as employee performance and engagement. 4. Maintains licenses and certifications while assisting the facility in adherence to federal, state, and professional standards and regulations. 5. Monitors and evaluates the performance of hospice staff. 6. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: 1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing 2. BLS 3. Valid and unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record Preferred: 1. 3 years of experience in Hospice, Palliative Care, or relevant area.
