Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Cody, WY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,281 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/11/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Cardiopulmonary Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights (BLOCK) Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid Respiratory Therapy license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy - Ability to provide care for patients ranging from birth to geriatric Description: Accountable for all respiratory care ordered by physicians. Follows all policies and procedures. Operates, maintains, and monitors all respiratory care equipment including but not limited to ventilators and oxygen devices. Administers inhaled medication and prescribed gases. Performs arterial, capillary, and venous blood draws and testing. Operates ABG instruments for blood gas analysis. Acts as a clinical resource and assists with decision-making, assessment, treatment, and documentation of respiratory care. Reviews patients' charts and obtains relevant history for patient care prior to each therapy or procedure. Performs accurate patient assessments and orders appropriate therapies based on evaluation and treatment protocols. Documents patient assessments, care plans, evaluations, and treatments or therapies as well as procedures and medications. Ensures physician orders are correct in the electronic medical record and verbal orders are documented per policy. Performs night shift duties as required by the department.
