Cardiovascular Technologist Location: San Luis Obispo, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,608 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist Profession: Cardiovascular Technologist Specialty: Cardiovascular Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) Experience: Two years experience as a cardiac ultrasound sonographer preferred. Two years experience as a vascular sonographer preferred. Two years experience as a pediatric cardiac sonographer preferred. One year experience as a Fetal ECHO sonographer preferred. License: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasonographer (RDCS) required. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) required. Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) required. Fetal Echocardiography (FE) preferred. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from an approved vendor required. Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) required. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or CCI Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI RVS) required. ARDMS-PE or CCI-RCCS required. Must-Have: Ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's age-specific needs. Demonstrated skills in performing M-Mode with calculations, 2-D procedures, and Doppler echo with analysis. Experience performing peripheral vascular procedures including arterial Doppler and venous Doppler. Description: Assist with cardiovascular and non-invasive studies or treatments. Perform M-Mode with calculations, 2-D procedures with necessary views and calculations, and Doppler echo with analysis. Demonstrate the ability to interpret information based on the patient’s specific needs. Anticipate the needs of the physician and provide awareness of potential patient problems. Perform tilt table exams, treadmills, 24-hour Holters, and pharmacological studies. Keep up-to-date with the latest advances in cardiovascular techniques and equipment. Precept new staff members and mentor other staff as needed. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
