Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Catheterization Lab Location: Sumter, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,486 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Holding Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years minimum License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with charting system, Epic - Familiarity with various cardiac procedures and skills Description: This role supports the cath lab specifically and the holding area. The schedule is Monday through Friday with varying start times, including 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasionally, staff may need to stay late to recover patients. There is no on-call requirement and no weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will perform pre- and post-procedure tasks. Responsibilities include IABP placement and removal, Impella insertion, and pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction/removal. Monitoring tasks will involve pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring and insertion/programming of AICDs. Additional skills include starting and maintaining IVs, administration of thrombolytics, and blood product administration. Candidates should also be familiar with external compression devices and vascular closure systems. Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations is essential. Knowledge of emergency medications and procedural sedation administration/monitoring is required. The ability to interpret/manage dysrhythmias and monitor procedural sedation is expected.
