Athletic Trainer

Williamson Health and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our team, bringing expertise in sports medicine to enhance our community's health. Located in Williamson, WV, our center is dedicated to innovative care approaches tailored to our unique community needs. The Athletic Trainer will work closely with patients, providing injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation, guided by the latest research and best practices in athletic training. Assess and diagnose injuries and implement treatment plans for recovery. Design and execute programs for injury prevention and performance enhancement. Educate patients and the community on injury prevention, maintenance exercises, and healthy lifestyle choices. Coordinate with physicians and healthcare staff to deliver comprehensive care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment progression. Strong knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy, and physiology Expertise in therapeutic modalities and exercise regimens Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) required Licensed by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC) CPR and First Aid certification
