Staff includes 21 professionals. The unit has both day and night shifts. The day shift consists of 6 therapists and a supervisor. The night shift includes 4 therapists. Patient ratios are maintained for optimal care. The type of equipment in use includes Servo and 840. EMR used is typical for respiratory settings. Common procedures on the unit include neb treatments and ABGs from A-lines and sticks. Team members assist in intubation and code responses. Collaborative work is emphasized, making team players a best fit. Candidates with Meditech experience will be prioritized. New equipment and technology enhance the working environment. Flexibility in scheduling is provided to accommodate the staff. Travelers will be scheduled according to facility policy, working every other weekend and holidays in rotation.
