CT Tech Location: Golden, CO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,833 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 9 Weeks Start Date: 5/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Tech Specialty: Computed Tomography Duration: 9 Shift: Night 12 Hours Hours per Shift: 36.00 Experience: 1-2 years of CT and Acute care experience License: ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certifications: Basic Life Support Certification (BLS), ARRT (R)(CT) preferred Must-Have: ARRT (R)(CT) required, BLS (AHA) required Description: The CT Technologist performs a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. This position requires ingenuity, initiative, and independent judgment to perform high-quality scans. Maintains ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions of the job. Understands and operates CT equipment and related information systems appropriately to ensure the production of quality images. Ensures proper patient identification and order verification while preparing the patient for the exam. Performs exams per department protocol. Reviews and evaluates images for quality, clarity, and accuracy, ensuring that all necessary anatomical structures are captured. Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment for patients and staff. Completes studies within acceptable time limitations without compromising patient care or the quality of the examination. Provides appropriate patient education, ensures patient comfort, and addresses patient and family concerns. Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other patient care providers following procedures. Practices appropriate infection control and sterile techniques. Keeps accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions or incidents. Follows appropriate protocol for medical necessity, coding and charging, obtaining necessary consents, and maintaining applicable quality control programs. Reports any equipment failures or problems. As ordered by the physician and under supervision, administers contrast media to patients per protocol and educates patients regarding safety concerns inherent to contrast administration. Stays updated with the latest advancements in CT technology, techniques, and protocols by participating in continuing education and professional development activities. Assists and instructs students and other radiology technologists in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
