Speech Therapist

Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Therapist (SLP) to join our team on a PRN contract basis in the Lafayette area. This role offers flexibility while providing meaningful, one-on-one care to patients in a home health setting. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality speech therapy services that improve communication and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide therapy services in a home-based setting Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology - preferred Active Louisiana Speech-Language Pathologist license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience in home health or a similar setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation What We Offer Competitive per-visit rate of $65.00 Flexible PRN schedule Opportunity to make a direct impact in patients’ lives Supportive and collaborative team environment Why This Role?
