Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience to support a pediatric hospital located in Alpharetta, GA. This travel opportunity offers a chance to work in a dynamic surgical environment, providing care to pediatric patients across multiple specialties including Neuro, Orthopedics, ENT, General Surgery, and Ophthalmology. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the OR setting focused on pediatric patients. Assist surgical teams during complex procedures, ensuring patient safety and sterile field maintenance. Scrub in during surgeries when applicable, supporting surgeons with precision and efficiency. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize perioperative care. Adhere to all hospital protocols including infection control and patient privacy rules. Document patient information accurately in EPIC, ensuring compliance with health standards. Qualifications: Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of OR experience. Recent pediatric OR experience strongly preferred. Proficiency in Neuro, Ortho, ENT, General, and Eyes surgical cases. Current BLS, PALS, and EMR certifications. Experience in a travel nursing role, with references from 2 recent OR supervisors/managers. Must be nicotine-free and pass a drug screen. Flu vaccination required without exemptions. Ability to scrub preferred but not mandatory. Experience with office surgery is not acceptable. NICU experience is a plus but not required. Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
