Med aide

At Good Samaritan Health Center, we are committed to delivering exceptional medical care with a focus on serving underserved communities. We are seeking a dedicated Med Aide to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the daily health and wellness needs of our patients are met with professionalism and compassion. As a Med Aide, you will work closely with our healthcare professionals to administer medications and treatments, assist in daily care, and contribute to patient assessments which support our holistic health approach. Administer prescribed medications to patients and maintain related medical records under supervision of registered nurse Verify identity of patient receiving medication and record name of drug, dosage, and time of administration on specified forms or records Take vital signs and observe and monitor patient's health condition, noting any changes Communicate with registered nurses about patient condition, medication interactions, or issues arising from drug administration Assist in patient hygiene, mobility, and nutritional support Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Strong organisational and communication skills High attention to detail Knowledge of basic healthcare and hygiene standards Ability to administer medications accurately and responsibly Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medication Aide (CMA) from an accredited program CPR certification recommended
