LPN/LVN, Day and Night Shift available

Encompass Health is seeking dedicated LPNs/LVNs to join our team, helping deliver expert inpatient rehabilitation services to patients with stroke, brain injury, and other complex conditions. Our LPNs/LVNs play a crucial role in the care team, ensuring that patients achieve the highest levels of independence. This position offers flexible shifts, including day and night options, in a dynamic and supportive environment focused on patient recovery and empowerment. Administer medications and document therapeutic effects Take vital signs and perform necessary diagnostic tests Monitor patient progress and response to treatments Assist in the development and implementation of care plans Provide basic patient care and treatments, like dressing wounds and managing infection prevention protocols Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and health maintenance Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of personal health information as per HIPAA regulations Proficiency in administering medications and managing IVs Strong observational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Crisis intervention skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current LPN/LVN license in the state of employment CPR certified IV certification preferred
