Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This role is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position based in Whittier, CA, serving the LA Area under a contract from August 12, 2026, to June 4, 2027. This full-time, on-site role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week with 8-hour workdays. Assignments may vary across multiple schools, including itinerant positions, supporting caseloads ranging from 50 to 60 students, primarily within school settings. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students across diverse age groups Manage caseloads effectively while collaborating with educators and staff Participate in district bi-weekly training cohorts, starting at designated periods within each month Utilize assessment materials reimbursed up to $2,500 to support student evaluations and progress monitoring Qualifications and Experience: Valid California SLP License and SLP Teaching Credential required Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowships (CF) are considered, with supervision arrangements provided as needed Experience levels from entry to advanced practitioners welcomed, with salary commensurate with years of school-based experience Preferred Skills: Strong ability to work within a school district environment and manage large caseloads Excellent communication and collaboration skills Flexibility to work across various school sites within the LA area This position offers a professional contract opportunity within the education sector, perfect for dedicated SLPs eager to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic school district environment.
