Shift Information: 12-hour night shifts: 7 PM to 7 AM 36 hours per week Weekend rotation: 6 shifts within a 6-week cycle (equivalent to 6 out of 12 shifts) Holiday schedule: Travelers expected to work approximately 75% of holidays Floating requirement: 6 shifts within a 6-week cycle Clinical Interviewing: Final interview conducted by the manager On-Call/Call-Back: None required Qualifications/Desired Experience: Current and valid RN license Experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit nursing Ability to provide critical care to patients requiring specialized nursing attention Effective communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, holidays, and float as scheduled Responsibilities/Duties: Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Stepdown or PCU setting Monitor and assess patient status and respond accordingly Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Adhere to hospital policies and clinical protocols This contract position provides an excellent chance to leverage specialized nursing skills in a dynamic environment with a predictable schedule and minimal on-call responsibilities.
