Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for two experienced School Psychologists to provide on-site services in the Semmes, AL area. These positions involve working directly within school settings, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. One position will serve Forest Hill Elementary, while the other will be itinerant across a private school and surrounding cluster, with the exact list of schools to be provided. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough psychological assessments for K-12 students to identify learning, emotional, and behavioral needs. Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and support services. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote student success and well-being. Provide crisis intervention and consultation as needed. Maintain accurate records and comply with state licensure requirements. Qualifications and Experience: Active Alabama school psychology license is mandatory. Proven experience working as a School Psychologist within K-12 educational settings. Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to manage caseload efficiently and work independently. Willingness to work on-site full-time (37.5 hours/week) during the contract period. Flexibility for itinerant assignments in multiple schools. Location: Semmes, AL on-site work required. Positions assigned to Forest Hill Elementary and various private schools within the cluster. Contract Details: Start Date: March 23, 2025 End Date: May 29, 2026 Strong potential for contract renewal for extended school years based on performance.
