Physical Therapist Assistant

This role involves assisting in providing cutting-edge physical therapy to athletes and sports enthusiasts, ensuring efficient recovery and performance enhancement. At SPT, your efforts will be crucial in implementing personalized treatment plans crafted by our physical therapists to assist patients in achieving their maximum potential. Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans. Perform routine patient care tasks like massage, ultrasound, and other therapeutic interventions. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and preventative measures. Document patient progress and treatment; report changes to the physical therapist. Prepare treatment areas and equipment for use, and maintain them post-treatment. Guide patients through specific exercise regimens as part of their recovery process. Strong knowledge of physical therapy modalities and techniques Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle physical demands of the position, including the movement of patients Good observation skills to accurately report patient progress 401k Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
