Clinical Nurse II: Adult Emergency Department

Albany Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Adult Emergency Department. As a member of our nursing team, you will play a crucial role in managing patient care, ensuring the effective delivery of emergency medical procedures, and maintaining high standards of nursing practice. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department. Assess patients' conditions and develop appropriate care plans. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver efficient treatment. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely. Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond with prompt medical interventions. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and ongoing needs. Ensure all healthcare regulations and safety standards are met. Strong clinical skills in a high-pressure environment. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Preferably holds a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification.
