Registered Nurse (RN) | Postpartum Location: Honolulu, HI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,034 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Maternal Child Health Specialty: Post Partum - Critical Need Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 07:15 PM to 07:45 AM Experience: 1 year recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring. Demonstrated IV skills and ability to perform lab draws. Demonstrated knowledge of high-risk medication administration (Magnesium, Oxytocin, Insulin). Demonstrated ability to perform urine point of care testing. Demonstrated knowledge of capillary blood glucose testing. Demonstrated knowledge of IStat. Demonstrated ability to perform adult cardiac monitoring. Demonstrated knowledge of newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring. Demonstrated ability to perform heel sticks/venipuncture on newborns. Demonstrated knowledge of newborn medication including the ability to perform IV administration and maintenance. Demonstrated knowledge of Bili-blankets/lights. Demonstrated knowledge of radiant warmers. Demonstrated knowledge to support teaching for gynecological procedures and post-operative bladder training. Demonstrated knowledge to support maternal-newborn teaching. Description: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred. Minimum three years of labor and delivery experience is preferred. Minimum three years of postpartum experience is preferred. Minimum one year of medical/surgical nursing experience is preferred.
