Job Description Tenet South Carolina is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a job in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: Ongoing - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Staff /n Up to $10,000 Sign-on Bonus Based on Eligibility /n Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care given to inpatients and outpatients to patients of all age populations at Piedmont Medical Center requiring respiratory therapy services. /n - Performs all aspects of respiratory care to include diagnostic test of the cardio-pulmonary system - performs quality control on all respiratory care equipment to include I-STAT blood gas analyzers - Provides respiratory care to patients. - Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. - Other related duties as assigned. - Education: - Graduate of Accredited and Approved Respiratory Care Technician or Therapist program - Associate degree required. - Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: - Current Respiratory Therapy Licensure through South Carolina Medical Examiner’s office. - CRTT required (Verified by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). - American Heart Association BLS CPR required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire. - American Heart Association PALS and ACLS certifications required within orientation period. - NRP certification required for NICU trained therapists Preferred: - Experience: 2 to 5 years of job-related experience preferred. - Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: RRT preferred (Verified by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Tenet South Carolina Job ID 2603005886.
