Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract About the unit(s): · Number of Beds – 20 beds · Type of equipment – IV pumps, Telemetry monitors, hoyer/ stand lifts, Impella, IABP, CRRT(nxstage), bladder scanner, Bair hugger, rapid transfuser, Blanketrol (for warming and cooling pts), chest tubes, vein finder, Sorin retransfuser post cardiac surgery, ventilator, high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP/ CPAP · EMR – Sunrise · Patient Population – mixed medical and surgical ICU Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. · Telemetry · Ideally PCU or greater Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. · Experience with critical drips, vents, etc. · Prior ICU experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · Pericardialcentesis with drains left in place post-precedure · Thoracentesis · Central line insertion · Arterial line insertion · Chest tube insertion · Intubation · TEE cardioversion, TTE · Transvenous pacing wire insertion Best personality Fit: · Organized but easily adaptable REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: · ACLS, BLS Floating Area(s): · Progressive Care Resource pool, travel contract, and per diem available as well
