Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. This opportunity seeks a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide specialized support within a school setting in Midland, NC. The role is a contract position designed for both local and travel candidates with a passion for helping students improve their functional abilities and succeed academically and socially. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams. Conduct evaluations and document progress in compliance with state and school policies. Adapt therapeutic interventions to meet diverse student needs in a classroom environment. Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and accommodations. Qualifications & Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials. For travel candidates: Hold certification and licensure valid in North Carolina. Experience working in school-based settings preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families.
