Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team, offering premier rehabilitation services. In this role, you will focus on delivering high-quality patient care designed to help individuals regain independence post major health events, such as strokes and injuries. As a Speech Pathologist at Encompass Health, you will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, providing personalized treatment plans and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and rehabilitation. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical histories. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or provide treatment. Educate patients and families about communication techniques and strategies to cope with speech and language impairments. Record keeping of patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly. Strong understanding of speech-language pathology practices and techniques. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments. Knowledge of electronic medical record systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
