HCA Florida North Florida Hospital invites qualified and passionate nursing professionals to apply for the position of Registered Nurse in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). As a dedicated CPCU nurse, you will be pivotal in providing top-tier care for patients with acute conditions requiring close monitoring but not at the level of intensive care. Our facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology and follows a patient-centric approach, ensuring the comfort and recovery of our patients. This role demands high attention to detail, exceptional clinical skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Closely monitor patients with moderate-to-severe but non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses. Assess, plan, and implement nursing care plans based on patient needs and conditions. Maintain accurate patient records and administer medications following doctor’s orders. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care and recovery. Educate patients and families on conditions and treatment plans. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida BLS certification ACLS certification CCRN certification preferred but not required
